The composition focuses on a characteristic corner building in Paris, with tall windows, shutters, wrought-iron balconies, awnings and the narrow perspective of a side street disappearing into the distance. Vayreda Canadell transforms an everyday fragment of Paris into a quiet and elegant urban landscape. The restrained palette of whites, pale blues, ochres, greys and deep architectural shadows gives the work a particularly sophisticated decorative quality. The contrast between the luminous upper façade and the darker street level creates a strong sense of depth and evokes the distinctive atmosphere of Parisian streets. The lithograph is signed in pencil by the artist at the lower right and hand-numbered at the lower left, identifying it as part of a limited edition.
