About the Item

This striking poster, titled The Painter, was published by La Fête de l’Humanité in 1970, based on an original drawing by Pablo Picasso. The poster is an offset lithograph in color, printed by Province Impression in Paris, and measures 39.25 x 23.75 inches. It is mounted on linen, which enhances both the visual display and long-term preservation of the piece, bringing the overall mounted dimensions to 43 x 27 inches. The Fête de l’Humanité is an annual festival organized by the French Communist newspaper L'Humanité, and Picasso’s involvement highlights his connection to political movements and his contribution to cultural events. The use of linen ensures that the poster remains in excellent condition, preventing wear and tear while adding a layer of durability and aesthetic enhancement. Shipping and Handling: We ship Worldwide. For Domestic and International shipments alike, we use heavy, thick-walled UPS and FedEx Approved shipping tubes to ship all items that are rollable.
