About the Item

This elegant pair of reclaimed metal gate posts provide a beautiful frame to a garden or driveway. Not only is it rare to find a complete pair but it is unusual to find them in such good condition after more than 150 years of use. Made from sturdy cast iron, they were salvaged from a farm in Norfolk in the east of the UK and feature shallow pyramid-shaped tops. They are designed to be set deep into the ground, so any damage or losses to the base pictured would be out of sight once installed. Additional Information Height above ground: approx. 132cm Size of each square top: 23 x 23cm.
