Late 17th or early 18th century French Louis XIV Period fireback with pillars and a pediment. The pediment was a classical architectural element to add grandness. The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request, it can be made black/pewter at no extra costs. The condition is good, no cracks.
