An outstanding Multi purpoise rectangular Ladys or Gentlemand Casket of rectangular outline and quite generous proportions, complete with its firm fitting lift off cover. Mid Twentieth Century, of Asian origin. This decorative example is entirely veneered with short lengths of reeded carved bone in various pastel creamy colours which is superbly done. Condition: Good condition with nice patination, possibly never used in its past. Width: (an impressive) 16" (41cm). Depth: 12” (30.5cm). Height: 4.25" (10.5cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
