About the Item

Hand-painted Royal Delft candlesticks by De Porceleyne Fles decorated in classic blue and white and offered as a pair with original Delft boxes. This rare and elegant pair of Royal Delft candlesticks, produced by De Porceleyne Fles in 1988, showcases the mastery of Delft Blue craftsmanship. Each candlestick is meticulously hand-painted by master painter H. van Leeuwen, reflecting the exquisite detail and artistry that Royal Delft has maintained for centuries. Historically, Delftware production focused on popular items like plates, vases, and tiles, leaving candlesticks as less common creations. Perfect as decorative accents, they bring a refined touch to any interior and are particularly suited to seasonal settings, adding elegance to holiday tables or festive décor. In excellent condition, both candlesticks come with their original Royal Delft gift boxes. The makers mark, year code and artist initials on the bottom confirm their authenticity making them valuable collectors items.

Vintage Chinoiserie Table Lamp, Delft White Ceramic, New Ginger Jar Lampshade

By Delft, Amitābha Studio

Located in Sitges, Barcelona

This blue and white Chinoiserie ceramic table lamp from a vintage Delft white vase by Velsen with sculptural ribbing and paired with a custom Chinoiserie lampshade. Newly wired, custom brass fittings, height includes lampshade. The vase base displays distinctive vertical ribbing in white glaze characteristic of mid-20th century Dutch pottery. Its classic ginger jar silhouette exemplifies the Delfts Wit style, white glazed Delftware that developed alongside the more famous blue and white tradition. The vase bears the authentic Velsen maker's mark on its base. Natural crazing—fine hairline cracks normal in vintage ceramics—appears in the glaze and is considered desirable evidence of age. The new bespoke drum lampshade by Amitābha...
