About the Item

Product Description:  On offer here is a reprinted version of Sieppo with legs, manufactured in 1995 by Oiva Toikka. The early footed Sieppo was created in many color variations, but the reprint is only made in this green color. It is a cute work with a chubby body, feathers which are slightly on the short side, and a lovely tail. The signature under the footing reads: "O. Toikka Nuutajrvi 1995". Product Condition: There are air bubbles in the object's tail, and there is a slight dent present under the left wing when viewed from the front. Some uneveness in the glass is present on the bird's beak as in other places but these are created in the production process and make for the individuality of the work. Overall, there are almost no threads and the item is in very good condition. Series: Sieppo Weight: 303g.

Vicke Lindstrand, Kosta Handblown Crystal Glass Vase Model LH 1011, Sweden 1960s

By Kosta Glasbruk 1, Vicke Lindstrand

Located in MAASTRICHT, LI

Elegant Scandinavian Modern glass vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden, circa 1960s. This refined model, numbered LH 1011, features a tall, slender silhouette with a gently flaring neck and subtly asymmetrical rim. The clear crystal body embeds a delicate optic pattern of fine bubbles, creating a soft sense of movement within the otherwise minimal form. The design exemplifies Lindstrand’s ability to combine sculptural clarity with restrained decorative detail. Mouthblown in heavy crystal and signed to the underside “LH 1011 Kosta”, indicating Lindstrand Handmade production. A sophisticated example of early Kosta art glass...
