About the Item

A striking Pfeffer Gotha porcelain vase combining vivid yellow glaze with silver overlay and contrasting black accents. Its sculptural silhouette comprises three distinct sections: a flared upper body, a rounded central section, and a widening foot, connected by two narrow waists. This rhythmic profile gives the vase a strong architectural presence. Broad diagonal silver bands sweep across the yellow surface, accompanied by slender black stripes that emphasize the movement of the decoration. Silver borders frame the opening and base, while narrow metallic rings accentuate the transitions between the three sections. The reflective silver contrasts beautifully with the glossy yellow porcelain, creating a bold composition with a distinctly Art Deco character. The underside bears the green Pfeffer Gotha maker’s mark.
