One of a kind early 19th century glass goblet from the famous Biedermeier period in Austria. Elaborately made of blown glass around 1835, this so-called "friendship" glass impresses with a beautiful shape and fantastic details. Elaborately executed red/ golden hand paintings as well as filigree engravings all over catch the important topics of friendship: health (Gesundheit) - memories (Erinnerung) and luck (Glück). A wonderful and unique gift for a real good friend/ collector. This truly outstanding example of a 19th century Biedermeier goblet impresses not only with its amazing looking artfully engravings but also with the ornate painted designs - what a gorgeous combination. An extraordinary masterpiece of Biedermeier glass art which coming in absolute great original condition.
