In the style of Karl Springer Sleek Architectural Postmodern Bench / Coffee Table in High-Gloss White Lacquer and Polished Stainless Steel Exceptional architectural bench / coffee table executed with a substantial 3" thick high-gloss white lacquered top set on two bold, mirror-finished polished stainless steel (non-magnetic) supports. The stainless bases are integrated through clean, offset cutouts and finish with crisp, flush top plates—an elevated construction detail that reads as both sculptural and engineered. Heavy for its size and beautifully balanced, this piece works equally well as a modern coffee table or a low bench in an entry, at the foot of a bed, or as a gallery-style display plinth. The contrast of bright white lacquer and reflective stainless gives it a sharp, high-end postmodern presence that pairs effortlessly with both warm mid-century woods and contemporary interiors. Dimensions: 50" L x 18" D x 17" H Materials: High-gloss white lacquered top (3" thick); polished stainless steel bases (non-magnetic), approx. 5" wide Condition: Very good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use; faint hairline marks to stainless visible under raking light (see photos).
