About the Item

An elegant set of eight Scandinavian dining chairs dating from the 1960s, comprising six side chairs and two armchairs. Crafted in European wood, the chairs combine cane backrests with upholstered seats, bringing together contrasting textures in a cohesive and inviting design. The woven cane lends visual lightness to the backrests, while the wood frames provide warmth and definition. Upholstered seats soften the composition and offer a comfortable surface for dining. The two armchairs can be placed at the heads of a dining table, creating a balanced arrangement, or used separately as occasional seating. The combination of natural materials and restrained detailing reflects the enduring appeal of Scandinavian furniture from this period.
