About the Item

Charming pair of Italian stools dating from the 1950s, featuring decorative wrought iron frames with elegant scrolling legs and distinctive looped detailing surrounding the seats. The frames retain their original pale green painted finish, showing an attractive patina and traces of wear developed over time. The seats are upholstered in a vintage floral coated fabric with a slightly glossy, vinyl-like surface, decorated with large red and pink roses against a warm beige background. The combination of the faded green ironwork and wonderfully nostalgic floral upholstery gives these stools a particularly decorative character. Beautiful as occasional seating, bedroom stools or placed together at the foot of a bed. In good vintage condition with wear and patina consistent with age. The original upholstery shows signs of age and use, including some small imperfections.
