A striking 1970s architectural Mid-Century Modern X-form étagère / bookcase featuring bold industrial construction infused with classic Neoclassical and Directoire details. Note this pair is sold, I have another pair, only difference, is they have the screws on the sides for the shelves. Constructed with heavy-gauge steel framing accented by geometric X-brace sides, brass ball finials at the top corners, and multi-tier wooden shelves. The design offers exceptional versatility, functioning seamlessly as a bookshelf, display étagère, or room divider. Shown in unrestored vintage condition, this piece will be professionally refinished prior to shipping (please allow lead time for completion). Offered as a matching pair (as pictured); select quantity at checkout or inquire to purchase the pair together. Standard Shelves: 12 inches high clearance (ideal for books, objects, and standard art volumes). Center Open Bay: 19.25 inches high clearance (perfect for tall vases, oversized art books, or sculptures). Heavy-duty steel frames repainted in a crisp satin black finish. Solid brass finial balls hand-polished. Wooden shelves completely refinished. Installed with new adjustable leveling feet/glides.
