About the Item

Large-scale oak hutch constructed in three distinct sections, combining display cabinetry, a central serving surface, and substantial lower storage. The upper section is composed of three glass-front cabinets, each retaining its original latching hardware. Behind the glass doors are vertically arranged shelves designed for the display of china, glassware, or pantry goods, with interiors finished in tongue-and-groove paneling that reinforces the piece's architectural presence. The cabinet depth subtly tapers outward from the center, adding visual interest and softening the mass of the upper case. The middle section functions as a buffet or serving area, framed by a pair of turned Grecian-style columns that lend a classical note to an otherwise restrained oak form. This open workspace visually separates the display cabinets above from the storage-heavy base below, making the hutch feel intentionally segmented rather than monolithic. Upper cabinets, interior shelf dimensions (each cabinet): Bottom shelf: 55" W x 13" D x 8.75" H Middle shelf: 55" W x 13" D x 12.5" H Top shelf: 55" W x 13" D x 12" H Middle buffet opening: 54.75" W x 15.5" D x 16" H Lower drawers (interior, each of three): 22.75" W x 12.75" D x 6" H Lower side cabinet compartments (four total): 14.5" W x 8" D x 12" H
