About the Item

Small Dutch Chest of drawers hand-made in the early 1900s using oak. The chest features four inset drawers with serpentine fronts. The same serpentine pattern is found also on the molding dividing the drawers as well as the edge of the top. The sides of the case are flat and at the bottom we find a molded baseboard on three sides. The chest still sits on its original block feet. Overall this is a beautiful, small chest that packs a lot of character in a rather limited floor space. The color of the oak and the patina are fantastic and make this an absolutely decorative piece. Wherever it is placed, be it an entryway, a bedroom or an office, this piece will warm and cozy up the space.
