About the Item

This antique Japanese chest of drawers dates back to the Meiji period. This chest is made from sturdy cedar wood with a lacquer finish, and the iron handles add industrial elegance. Decades of natural fading and wear have turned the wood surface a deep black, creating unparalleled texture and character. This chest is perfect for anyone looking to bring a touch of "Japanese" and vintage charm to their space, and will complement both Japanese-inspired and antique décor. A rare piece of history and art, you can bring the timeless beauty of Japanese tradition into your home. Weight：9.5kg - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
