About the Item

This is not just a shelf; it's a piece of brutalist folk art from the 50's. Its structure is formed by two curved solid wood elements, likely repurposed agricultural tools (yokes?), which give it this unique architectural silhouette. Three raw wood shelves, with a deep, dark patina, are fitted into the frame with visible joinery (through-tenons), reinforcing its rustic, "wabi-sabi" aesthetic. It is a sculptural piece of furniture that tells a story, perfect for displaying ceramics, art books, or plants. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The structure is perfectly stable and solid. The wood shows a magnificent patina with marks of use and time that constitute the charm of this unique piece.
