About the Item

The PARENTESI bookcase by Riva 1920, designed by CarlesiTonelli, is a modular shelving system crafted from solid wood and veneered blockboard. Defined by its light architectural presence and refined material balance, the bookcase combines transparency, functionality, and contemporary elegance. The structure is composed of wooden shelves supported and spaced by vertical uprights in tempered glass. The contrast between the solidity of the oak elements and the transparency of the glass creates a visually lightweight composition that organizes space without overwhelming it. The absence of visible fasteners further enhances the purity and minimalism of the design. Its modular construction allows for flexible configurations while maintaining a clean and sophisticated aesthetic, making it suitable for both residential interiors and refined contract environments. The knot-free natural oak finish emphasizes the richness and continuity of the wood grain, reinforcing the timeless and elegant character of the piece. The structural elements are calculated with transparent / extra-clear glass uprights (E1).
