About the Item

A very large custom-made circular dining table (or commercial display centre table), in the manner of Jacques Dumond. The base is formed by Y-shaped thick lucite panels and chrome fittings, which support the big and heavy round glass top. Originally custom-made in 1990 for a prestigious fashion boutique in Brussels. Acquired from their first owners in Brussels and imported in to UK, the table spent most of its time covered with fabric, and therefore are in a very good condition. Creator: Unknown Place Of Origin: Belgium Date Of Manufacture: 1990 Period: 1990-1999 Materials & Techniques: Lucite, Glass, Chrome Steel Condition: Good original condition. Wear: Wear consistent with age and use. Some scratches or a possible chip in the table top. Height: 75cm 29.5in Diameter: 154cm 60.8in Glass Thickness: 1.8cm in.
