Joan of Arc Medal Cuff Bracelet Black Diamond Silver Roses Gold J DAUPHIN Designer: J DAUPHIN A Joan of Arc medal cuff bracelet featuring a gold portrait coin framed by three silver roses set with natural black diamonds. Named Purpose of Destruction, the bracelet is handcrafted in gold-plated brass with an open double-wire construction. Two curved gold bands meet at the central medallion, depicting Joan of Arc in armor, held in place by sculptural silver flower settings. The combination of gold and silver creates a two-tone design inspired by antique French religious medals, Victorian rose jewelry, and medieval armor. Each of the three silver roses is set with a black diamond, framing the Joan of Arc coin at the center. The rigid open cuff curves around the wrist and can be gently adjusted for fit. Joan of Arc, also known as Jeanne d'Arc and Saint Joan of Arc, is a historical symbol of courage, conviction, and faith. The fifteenth-century French heroine was canonized in 1920 and remains closely associated with spiritual resistance and personal strength. Her image appears in French devotional medals, religious jewelry, and commemorative objects. The rose, historically associated with the Virgin Mary in Christian iconography, introduces another element of religious symbolism. Together, the medal and diamond-set roses reference the traditions of protective amulets, saint jewelry, and personal talismans. J DAUPHIN was founded in 2006 by Swedish-French designer Johanna Dauphin. Her design background includes FENDI and TOD’S in Italy, followed by work across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Her collections draw on Victorian jewelry, antique religious iconography, ancient symbols, and traditional artisanal techniques. Her work has appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W Magazine, Elle, and Marie Claire, and has been carried by Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford, and Matches Fashion. She has created jewelry for musicians and actors including Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, and Uma Thurman. Each piece is handmade using traditional artisanal methods.
