About the Item

Napoléon au tombeu de Frédéric Le Grand is an etching realized after Marie-Nicolas Ponce-Camus that belongs to the suite AtlasBatt realized for Jacques Norvins Histoire de Napoleon, published in 1837. Author Jacques Norvins published one of the most comprehensive and influential histories on the life and military career of Napoleon. 14x22 cm. Good conditions except for some yellow on the margins. In 1805 Napoleon created the Confederation of the Rhine, which brought together the states in Germany. The largest states were Bavaria and Saxony.
