Mexican Serving Pieces

Invite a little magic to your table with this enchanting silver-plated plate holder by celebrated Mexican designer Emilia Castillo. Handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico, this sculptural three-tier display stand transforms everyday plates into a whimsical garden of art, where delicate butterflies seem to flutter among curling vines and polished leaves. Stamped "Emilia Castillo / Mexico M.R. / Plateado / TO-85," the piece beautifully embodies Castillo's signature ability to blend nature, craftsmanship, and imagination into functional works of art. Graceful repoussé butterflies perch along flowing tendrils while softly sculpted foliage climbs the elegant arched silhouette, giving the impression that the stand has grown naturally around the treasures it displays. Perfect for showcasing decorative porcelain, majolica, hand-painted ceramics, or cherished family heirlooms, this stand elevates even a single plate into a centerpiece. Whether gracing a dining table, buffet, kitchen island, or display cabinet, it brings warmth, character, and a touch of storybook charm to any interior. Both functional and sculptural, this rare Emilia Castillo creation celebrates the artistry of Taxco silversmithing while adding a playful elegance that feels equally at home in a refined dining room or an eclectic collector's display. It is a delightful conversation piece for lovers of Mexican silver, botanical design, and finely crafted decorative arts. Dimensions: Height: 18 in. Width: 13.75 in. Depth: 10 in.
